My dear friends Abbey Engelmann, Riuji Sato, and myself have just created a small opera company called "Little Songbook Opera" and our first performance is one of the KidSunday events hosted by TidePool BookShop. We are looking for donations to help us hire our musicians, who include Emmalyne Parke, Tim Antonelli, Anna Simmons, King Jay, Ruby Abreu, and Lisa Utzig. .

Vincent Francis’ Graduating Senior Recital

The fourth installment in my informal lecture series on Jewish Baroque music at Lehrhaus. Here, we dive deeper into the music of the Spanish-Portuguese community in Amsterdam, focusing on two composers about whom we know very little.
