Titania’s Attendants (2025)

This mini-opera was conceived by A.J. Ramsey for the Longy School of Music Opera Creation Lab. The libretto was co-written by A.J. Ramsey, Lena MacLean Lofquist, and Joey Timmons. The story is an imagined B-plot of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, where Queen Titania’s fairy attendants wonder about her newfound love interest—a human named Bottom with the head of a donkey. It was premiered on May 13, 2025.
