Scherzo for a Fox…and a Chipmunk (2025)

This scherzo for solo violin was commissioned by Dmitri Ascarrunz for his graduating recital The Fox. It can stand alone as a solo work but also fits in a larger narrative about a fox playing about in a forest and ignoring warnings that some of his actions could be destructive. It was premiered at the Longy School of Music on May 9, 2025.
