The Navier-Stokes Equation (2023)

This piece was commissioned by Riuji Sato, a doctor of mathematics and esteemed countertenor. It is a aural exploration of the principles of the Navier-Stokes Equation, which is an unsolved problem in mathematics that is intended to describe the movement of fluids. The text is taken from the writings of Lewis Fry Richardson (1881-1953). This work was premiered at my master’s recital, Show and Tell.
