Disco Fugue (2024)

This work was written for the class “Canon, Invention, and Fugue,” taught by Peter J. Evans. I used two disco songs (“Rasputin” and “Ring My Bell”) as the subject and counter-subject in this fugue, which was an exercise in triple counterpoint. It can be played on any keyboard instrument and could include a brief prelude or fantasia before the fugue.
