Biber on Bieber (2024)

Written for John Morrison’s class In The Manner Of, where the final assignment was to imitate a composer’s style in an original composition. I chose two great Bi(e)bers of music history: Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber (1644-1704) and Justin Bieber (b. 1994). This work was premiered at my master’s recital Show and Tell at the Longy School of Music.
